Southeastern Conference Releases 2018 Soccer and Volleyball Broadcast Schedules

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced its broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2018 soccer and volleyball seasons Wednesday. The Alabama soccer team will be featured three on the ESPN family of networks and the volleyball team will appear four times.
In addition to Alabama's seven combined televised appearances, all home matches and select road contests will be streamed online through the SEC Network+. Video streaming links will be posted on the respective sport's schedule page on Rolltide.com prior to competition and will be available on WatchESPN.com and the WatchESPN app.
Alabama soccer will make its SEC Network debut on Sunday, Oct. 14, hosting Florida at the UA Soccer Complex. The contest between the Crimson Tide and the Gators is set for a 4 p.m. CT start on ESPNU. Alabama's next game against Texas A&M on Thursday, Oct. 18, in Tuscaloosa will also be nationally-televised, airing live on the SEC Network at 6 p.m. CT. The Tide will also be shown nationally when it takes on in-state rival Auburn on Thursday, Oct. 25, at 8 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
In addition to the regular season, SEC Network will carry every round of the SEC Soccer Tournament from Orange Beach, Ala., Oct. 28-Nov. 4.
Alabama volleyball is scheduled to first appear on the ESPN family of networks in its SEC opener on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Missouri. First serve on ESPNU is set for 8 p.m. CT from the Hearnes Center in Columbia, Mo. The Tide will next appear on the SEC Network on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m. CT, facing Tennessee on the road. Another midweek televised match comes two weeks later when Alabama hosts Mississippi State Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m. CT in Foster Auditorium live on ESPNU. The Tide makes one final ESPNU appearance on Sunday, Oct. 28, facing Ole Miss at 5 p.m. CT in Tuscaloosa.
