GAME CAPTAINS: Alabama's captains for the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl against Oklahoma were running back Damien Harris, tight end Hale Hentges, linebacker Christian Miller and center Ross Pierschbacher.
 
QUICK START: Alabama scored touchdowns on each of its first four possessions of tonight's game to take a 28-0 lead after 16:59 off the play clock, marking the third time this season the Tide has gotten to the end zone on its first four drives (Sept. 29 vs. Louisiana, Oct. 20 at Tennessee).
 
TAGOVAILOA FIRST HALF PASSING: In the first half of play through 14 games this season, Tua Tagovailoa has thrown for 2,589 yards and 29 touchdowns. He started tonight's game a perfect 9-for-9 for 184 yards and two touchdowns and finished 15-of-17 with 224 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
                                                    
RECEIVERS GALORE: Alabama had nine different receivers catch a pass in the game against Oklahoma – the most it has had all season. The Tide had used eight in six of its 13 games prior to the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl (Arkansas State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Missouri, Tennessee, Auburn).
 
TIDE SENIORS POST NCAA-RECORD 55th WIN: Alabama's 45-34 win over Oklahoma was the 55th for members of the Crimson Tide's senior class. The group has posted a record of 55-3 (.948), won two national championships and three Southeastern Conference championships, and has appeared in five College Football Playoffs. The 55 wins surpasses Alabama's 2017 senior class (53-5; .914) for the most wins by a senior class in NCAA history.
 
ALABAMA REACHES 14 WINS FOR THE FOURTH TIME IN SCHOOL HISTORY: With its 45-34 win over Oklahoma, Alabama moves to 14-0 in 2018, marking the fourth time in school history the Tide has reached the 14-win milestone. Alabama finished 14-0 in 2009 and 14-1 in 2015 and 2016.
 
TAGOVAILOA EXTENDS SCHOOL RECORD WITH SIXTH 300-YARD PASSING GAME IN 2018: Tua Tagovailoa's 318 yards passing against Oklahoma marked his sixth 300-yard passing game this season. Tagovailoa broke the school record of three such games in a season against The Citadel on Nov. 17. Gary Hollingsworth (1989), Jay Barker (1994) and AJ McCarron (2013) shared the previous UA best with three 300-yard games.
 
TAGOVAILOA SETS SINGLE-SEASON PASSING YARD RECORD: With 3,671 passing yards this season, Tua Tagovailoa moved into the top spot on the UA single-season passing yards list. Tagovailoa passed Blake Sims, who had been No. 1 with 3,487 yards in 2014. Tagovailoa is just the fourth quarterback in school history to throw for 3,000 yards in a season.
 
TAGOVAILOA MOVES INTO SECOND FOR TDs IN A SEASON IN SEC HISTORY: Tua Tagovailoa's four passing touchdowns gives him 41 on the season, surpassing Andre Woodson (Kentucky) for the second-most in SEC history. Missouri's Drew Lock holds the record with 44 in 2017.
 
JEUDY SECOND ON THE TIDE SEASON RECEIVING YARDS CHART: Jerry Jeudy's 73 receiving yards on four catches against Oklahoma gave him 1,176 yards receiving this season to move the sophomore past Julio Jones (1,133 yards in 2010) for second on UA's single season receiving yards list. Amari Cooper is the school record-holder with 1,727 yards in 2014.
 
BULOVAS NO. 1 ON UA SINGLE-SEASON PAT LIST: Redshirt freshman Joseph Bulovas' six PATs against Oklahoma gave the Mandeville, La., native 74 for the season, moving him into first place on the UA single-season PAT list. Jeremy Shelley had held the record with 69 conversions in 2012.
 
MOST POINTS IN FIRST QUARTER IN ORANGE BOWL HISTORY: Alabama's 21 first-quarter points are the most scored in an opening quarter in Orange Bowl history. The previous record was 19 set by Georgia against TCU in the 1942 installment of the game.
 
FIRST QUARTER SCORING: With a 21-0 advantage after the opening 15:00, Alabama has now outscored its opponents 220-45 (+175) in the first quarter this season. No other team has scored more than 172 points or has a point differential better than +119 in the first quarter this season.
