Football Takes Part in Final Walkthrough in Preparation for Fourth-Ranked Oklahoma

The Crimson Tide and Sooners square off on Saturday evening at Hard Rock Stadium
MIAMI – The Crimson Tide football team took part in a final walkthrough on Friday afternoon to wrap up the practice schedule for the 2018 Capital One Orange Bowl in Miami, Fla. Alabama and Oklahoma will meet at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., tomorrow evening with a 7 p.m. CT kickoff.
The morning began with the head coaches' press conference, featuring Nick Saban and Lincoln Riley of Oklahoma. Later in the day, Saban, along with six student-athletes headed to lunch for the coaches' luncheon. Following the morning activities, the Crimson Tide boarded the bus and headed to Barry University one last time for a final walkthrough before tomorrow's College Football Playoff Semifinal matchup. The workout was UA's last of 12 total practices in preparation for the Sooners.
No. 1 Alabama and fourth-ranked Oklahoma will square off tomorrow evening at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., for the College Football Playoff Semifinal. The two teams are set for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff with the game airing on ESPN. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the game from the booth while Maria Taylor and Laura Rutledge work the sidelines for each team.
Tomorrow's matchup between Alabama and Oklahoma will be the sixth pairing between the two storied programs. The Crimson Tide is 1-3-1 all-time against the Sooners, including a 1-1-1 mark in postseason play. The last meeting between the teams came in the 2014 Sugar Bowl with Oklahoma claiming a 45-31 win.
