Alabama Football Adds 22 Student-Athletes on First Day of Early Signing Period

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama football announced it has added 22 student-athletes to its 2019 recruiting class on the first day of the early signing period on Wednesday.
The 22 high school players come from 10 states – Alabama (6), Florida (3), Georgia (3), Maryland (3), New Jersey (2), Illinois (1), Kentucky (1), Louisiana (1), Mississippi (1) and Texas (1).
As of 4 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Alabama's 2019 signing class was ranked No. 1 nationally by 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals.
As listed by position, the Crimson Tide add to its roster five offensive linemen, five linebackers, four defensive backs, three defensive linemen, two quarterbacks along with one player each at placekicker, tight end and wide receiver.
