Alabama Prepares for Tuesday Night Contest Against Stetson

The Crimson Tide is set to take on the Hatters at 7 p.m. CT in Coleman Coliseum
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women's basketball finishes up its three-game home stand when it matches up against Stetson on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. CT inside Coleman Coliseum. The Crimson Tide (4-1) is currently on a three-game winning streak and is coming off a 73-55 victory against Grambling State on Friday.
THE BROADCAST
• Tuesday's game will stream live on SEC Network + via the WatchESPN app. Eli Gold (play-by-play) and Rick Moody (analyst) will be on the call and will be joined by sideline reporter Eryn Cooper.
• The game can also be heard on the Crimson Tide Sports Network on 93.3 FM in Tuscaloosa with Roger Hoover on the broadcast.
OPENING TIP
• The Tide has won three-straight games, with wins over SMU, Clemson and Grambling State.
• With the first RPI Report coming out on Monday, Alabama currently ranks at No. 13 in RPI and No. 28 in Strength of Schedule.
• Tuesday's matchup against Stetson marks the first meeting between the two programs.
• The Crimson Tide is coming off of a win over Grambling State where junior Jasmine Walker and sophomore Ariyah Copeland showed out, while Stetson is still looking for its first win of the season with an 0-5 record so far in 2018-19.

• Alabama also holds a 7-0 record at home versus programs currently in the ASUN.
ABOUT STETSON
• The Hatters are 0-5 entering Tuesday night's contest under Lynn Bria who is in her 11th season with SU.
• Stetson is led by senior guard McKenna Beach who is tops on the team with 13.6 points per game and redshirt senior Sarah Sagerer who puts in 12.3 points per game to go along with a team-high 6.8 rebounds per contest.
• In 2017-18 the Hatters finished the season with a 17-15 record overall and an 8-6 mark in conference play.
NEWS AND NOTES
• Head coach Kristy Curry is just three wins away from reaching another coaching milestone with 400 wins in her career. Curry ranks 4th in the SEC among active coaches in career wins and is just 12 wins away from her 100th victory at Alabama.
• Walker continues to impress for the Tide, as she posted a career-high 24 points to go along with nine rebounds in the victory over Grambling State. The junior leads the team with 15.8 points and 8.6 rebounds per game this season.
• Throughout this season Alabama has had a huge spark off the bench in Copeland, who most recently posted her second career double-double with a career-high 18 points and 14 rebounds, while also going 7-of-7 from the field in the win over Grambling State (11/23). Her perfect field goal percentage made her one of seven players in Alabama history to shoot perfect from the field (min. seven attempts) in a game.
• Junior Ashley Knight is just 36 blocks away from breaking Alabama's all-time block record, with 151 blocks in her career. Last year she finished No. 4 in the Tide record books with 59 blocks in a single-season. Knight still holds the single-season record for blocks with 90 in 2016-17.
• Knight also currently holds the highest career field goal percentage (55.9) in Alabama history. The Austin, Texas native, has made 175-of-313 attempts in her career with the Tide.
