TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama held its final practice of the week on Thursday in advance of Saturday's annual meeting with SEC East rival Tennessee. The Tide worked in a helmets-only session at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility this afternoon.
CBS will air this weekend's meeting with the Volunteers from Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn., at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 20, with Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and Jamie Erdahl on the call.
Alabama has won the last 11 meetings between the two teams, the longest winning streak for either school in a series that dates to 1901. Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban is 13-1 all-time against the Vols, including an 11-0 mark with UA.
Also on Thursday, the Allstate Sugar Bowl announced that Alabama sophomore Tua Tagovailoa as one of 15 quarterbacks added to the Manning Award watch list. Finalists for the award, which honors the nation's top quarterback, will be announced on Nov. 29.
