Zhe Zhou and Alexey Nesterov Complete Play at $25k USTA Futures

Zhou and Nesterov both dropped their matches in the main draw on Wednesday
HOUSTON – Juniors Zhe Zhou and Alexey Nesterov finished up play in the main draw of the USTA $25k Futures tournament in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday.
After winning all three of his qualifying matches, Zhou matched up against No. 2 seed Jared Miltzik (No. 440 ATP). The Tianjin, China native, put up a great effort versus Miltzik before falling, 5-7, 6-2, 6-3.
Nesterov was awarded a rematch against the No. 1 seed in the qualifier final, Andrew Watson, after earning a lucky loser bid into the main draw. The Moscow, Russia native, for the second-straight match took Watson to three sets before coming up short, 6-7(4), 6-4, 6-0.
Alabama men's tennis will be back in action when it hosts the ITA Southern Regional Championships in Tuscaloosa on October 18-23.
