Thibault Cancel Falls in Day Two at Oracle ITA Masters

MALIBU, Calif. – Alabama's Thibault Cancel fell to Micahail Pervolarkis of Portland, 6-4, 6-4, in the second round of the Oracle ITA Masters tournament held at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif., on Friday.

Cancel, the No. 72 player in the nation, defeated Western Michigan's Nouchi Kennosuke (Western Michigan) in straight sets, 6-2, 7-5, to advance on Thursday.

The sophomore will return home to Tuscaloosa after the loss on Friday.
