Alabama Men’s Tennis Opens Fall Season Hosting Crimson Tide Four-In-The-Fall

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama Men's Tennis team opens the 2017 fall season hosting the Crimson Tide Four-In-The-Fall tournament at Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility and the University of Alabama Tennis Stadium on Friday morning and will continue through Sunday.
The event will begin Friday at 9 a.m. with doubles play, followed by singles matches at 10 a.m. During the three-day event, Alabama will welcome strong opponents, such as, Mississippi State, Illinois, Florida State, Memphis, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Tulane, and Rice.
"It's always great to play at home," said head coach George Husack. "Traditionally we have played our first tournament at home, so we are welcoming in a great field of teams and we're excited to play in front of our fans here."
Representing the Crimson Tide in the Four-In-The-Fall are sophomores Alexey Nesterov, Edson Ortiz, and Zhe Zhou, along with freshmen Sam Fischer and Grant Stuckey.
