Alabama Athletics Holds Annual Letter Jacket Ceremony Tuesday Night

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - More than 100 University of Alabama student-athletes were honored Tuesday night in the lobby of Coleman Coliseum with letter jackets, emblazoned with the Crimson Tide's script A.
Tide student-athletes are awarded letter jackets after earning their first varsity letter.  Director of Athletics Greg Byrne welcomed the newest class of letterwinners to the exclusive club.
J.C. Ranelli, the president of the A-Club Alumni Association who played baseball at Alabama, also spoke to those gathered of the honor and pride that comes with earning a Crimson Tide varsity letter and the lifetime connection that goes along with it.
