Alabama Men’s Tennis Prepares for USTA $15k Futures in Birmingham

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's tennis team is ready to compete in the USTA $15k Futures in Birmingham, Ala., on Friday.

Four Crimson Tide tennis players will begin qualifying play on Friday, including freshman Grant Stuckey, sophomores Zhe Zhou, Alexey Nesterov, and Edson Ortiz.

The Singles Main Draw begins on Tuesday Oct. 31, sophomore No. 72 Thibault Cancel earned a wild card bid to the main draw and will begin play on Tuesday.

Alabama Schedule of Play:

Grant Stuckey vs. Nicaise Muamba (Canada) - Not before 12:30 p.m.

Alexey Nesterov vs. Zhe Zhou - Not before 3 p.m.
