TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team put in two hours of work in shells on Thursday afternoon at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.
The team worked its final full practice leading up to its matchup with Tennessee this weekend. The annual "Third Saturday in October" contest between the Crimson Tide and Volunteers is scheduled for a 2:39 p.m. CT kickoff at Bryant-Denny Stadium and will air live on CBS. Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson will work from the booth, while Allie LaForce mans the sidelines.
The Crimson Tide and Volunteers will meet for 100th time in a rivalry that dates back to the 1901 season. Alabama holds the advantage, 54-37-8 (52-38-7 after vacations) in the all-time series, and has won the last 10 matchups between the two squads. Most recently, the Tide took down Tennessee, 49-10, in Knoxville a season ago.
