Alabama’s Fredlock and Sagert Post Top-20 Finishes on Day Two of Tennessee Diving Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Alabama seniors Kara Fredlock and Brent Sagert posted top-20 finishes on day two of the Tennessee Diving Invitational being held in Knoxville, Tenn., this week.
Fredlock was 17th off the 1-meter springboard after scoring 250.10 points over her first six dives. Sagert was 18th off the 3-meter board after tallying 294.35 points over the course of six dives. Senior Dakota Toner also posted a top-25 finish in the women's 1-meter competition, taking 24th with 236.20 points. On the men's side, junior David Morton totaled 272.95 points to take 22nd in the men's 3-meter.
The three-day event is being held in the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center, the site of this year's Southeastern Conference Championships. After two days of springboard competition, the event concludes Thursday with both the men and women going off the platform. Thursday gets underway at 11 a.m. ET.
