
Crimson Tide Athletics' 2015-16 Annual Report Now Available on RollTide.com

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The 2015-16 University of Alabama Athletics Annual Report is now available for viewing on RollTide.com. The 88-page report details the accomplishments of the Crimson Tide's 21 varsity teams during the 2015-16 academic year. The also provides information on the happenings and functions of athletics department auxiliaries and departments, such as Life Skills, compliance, the A-Club and student services.
The Annual Report also provides a detailed list of individual and team honors, awards and accolades earned by the Crimson Tide over the past year, including running back Derrick Henry's Heisman Trophy, gymnast Lauren Beers' third-consecutive NCAA Elite 90 Award and softball centerfielder Haylie McCleney's Senior CLASS award. There are special spreads within the publication that commemorate Alabama football's run to its 26th Southeastern Conference championship, the 2016 College Football Playoff national championship and the women's golf team's third Southeastern Conference title.
One of the report's highlights is a section detailing Crimson Tide student-athletes' tremendous success in the classroom, including the fact that Alabama is the first school in history to have three student-athletes named CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year for their respective sports in the same year.
As Director of Athletics Bill Battle stated in his letter that opens this year's report: "It is an amazing gift to be a part of the Crimson Tide at this extraordinary point in our history, and it's one that I don't take for granted. I am moved beyond words at the amazing pride our entire department, and all those who follow the Crimson Tide, have in the hard work, dedication and fierce determination our student-athletes pour into their efforts to lead the way athletically, academically and in the community."
