
Avery Johnson and Kristy Curry to Appear on "Hey Coach!" Thursday at Bob's Victory Grille

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama basketball head coaches Avery Johnson and Kristy Curry will make Thursday night appearances on the "Hey, Coach!" radio show. The program will run from 6:30-8 p.m. CT at Bob's Victory Grille in Tuscaloosa's Midtown Village and can be heard on the Crimson Tide Sports Network.
Fans of both teams are encouraged to attend the hour and a half long event. Coach Johnson will appear at 6:45 p.m., and Coach Curry will appear shortly after around 7:15 p.m. Coaches will discuss summer workouts, the upcoming season and an announcement regarding this year's Tide Tipoff event.
After exhibition games against Faulkner (Nov. 3) and West Alabama (Nov. 4) for the men's and women's teams, respectively, they will begin the 2016-17 season with a doubleheader. The women will face New Orleans followed by the men hosting Coastal Carolina. This doubleheader will take place on the 11th of November with game times being announced at a later date.
