- Alabama went 4-1 on opening weekend at the UCF Knights Invitational in Orlando, Fla.
- Alabama has won four or more games on opening weekend every year since 2011
- All 18 players on the roster saw playing time on opening weekend.
- Of the 14 players with at least one at-bat over the weekend, 11 earned a hit.
- The team was a perfect 13-13 in stolen bases, led by Demi Turner with four.

- Feb. 12 - Alabama 9, Fordham 1 (5 Innings): Alabama opened its season with a strong win over Fordham, as freshman Madi Moore earned the win in the circle in her collegiate debut while Haylie McCleney went 3-3 with two RBIs out of the leadoff spot.
- Feb. 12 - UCF 8, Alabama 1: The Crimson Tide fell in its first ranked matchup of the season, as the 17th-ranked Knights limited the Tide offense to just three hits while their hitters capitalized on three defensive errors by the Tide.
- Feb. 13 - Alabama 6, Rutgers 0: Alabama bounced back from Friday's loss with a shutout over Rutgers on Saturday. Madi Moore earned her second win of the weekend in a complete-game effort while four Tide players had multi-hit efforts led by Leona Lafaele with three.
- Feb. 13 - Alabama 2, James Madison 1: The Tide earned a hard-fought comeback victory over the 19th-ranked Dukes. After being held hitless for five innings, a sixth-inning error allowed Alabama to tie it at 1-1 and back-to-back hits by Marisa Runyon and Peyton Grantham in the bottom of the seventh gave the Tide the win in walk-off fashion.
- Feb. 14 - Alabama 10, Liberty 2 (6 Innings): Alabama closed its weekend with an impressive showing against Liberty, scoring 10 runs on 12 hits. Sydney Littlejohn earned her first win of the season while Demi Turner went 2-3 with two RBIs out of the leadoff position.
INDIVIDUAL STANDOUTS: WEEK ONE
- Freshman pitcher Madi Moore (Winfield, Ala.) went 2-0 on opening weekend, allowing just one unearned run over 12.0 innings pitched with six strikeouts. She made her collegiate debut in the first game of the weekend against Fordham on Friday, throwing 5.0 innings with one unearned run on four hits. She followed that with a complete-game shutout against Rutgers on Saturday, striking out four.
- Sophomore infielder Demi Turner (Huntsville, Texas) led the team with eight hits, five RBIs and four stolen bases this weekend, starting at second base all five games. She earned two hits in three of her five starts after leading the team in multi-hit games last season.
- Senior infielder Leona Lafaele (Sacramento, Calif.) went 7-16 (.438) over five starts at first base. Three of her seven hits were doubles, which already matches her combined freshman and sophomore season totals. She had 10 doubles last season as a junior.
