Alabama Inks OL Elliot Baker and DL Isaiah Buggs

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The top-ranked Alabama football program signed two junior college players, Isaiah Buggs and Elliot Baker, to national letters of intent on Wednesday during the mid-year signing period. The pair will enroll in January at The University of Alabama and go through 2017 spring drills with the Crimson Tide.
Baker, a 6-7, 295-pound offensive lineman of out San Francisco Community College, is a four-star prospect who is ranked as the top junior college tackle prospect in the nation. He is the third-ranked junior college player in the ESPN Junior College 50 and the No. 4 overall JUCO player according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Buggs, a native of Ruston, La., is a 6-4, 290, defensive end out of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He is rated the No. 1 junior college defensive end and the No. 2 overall junior college player in the 247Sports Composite. The five-star prospect is also No. 2 JC player by Scout.com and No. 5 by ESPN.com. He finished this season with a team-high 75 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
