SCOUTING ALABAMA (15-9, 4-7 SEC)
- Alabama dropped a pair of three-set matches at home last weekend, falling to Tennessee on Friday and 22nd-ranked Kentucky on Sunday.
- Krystal Rivers' career kills total now sits at 1,994 which is 96 shy of Erin Heffner's (2001-04) career record of 2,090. Rivers is averaging 5.99 kills per set this season, which is the second-highest rate of any player in program history. Her career average is at 4.38 kills per set, which is also third in Tide history.
- Rivers leads the SEC in kills (551, 5.99/set) and is sixth in service aces (33, 0.36/set) while Shannon Mikesky ranks fifth in assists (915, 10.76/set)
- This will be the second time this season Alabama has played both Texas A&M and Arkansas, winning both previous contests. The Tide defeated the Aggies, 3-2, in Tuscaloosa to open SEC play on Sept. 23 and swept Arkansas on the road on Oct. 21.

- Tennessee 3, Alabama 0 Alabama volleyball fell to Tennessee in three sets to open its weekend at Foster Auditorium. The Volunteers swept the Tide by set scores of 15-25, 22-25 and 23-25. Alabama was limited to a .100 team hitting percentage by Tennessee while being out-blocked 13.5-3.0 at the net. Krystal Rivers ended the match with 15 kills, putting her 115 away from Alabama's career record. Hayley McSparin was close behind with 12 kills, hitting .450 with just three errors on 20 swings.
- Kentucky 3, Alabama 0 Alabama volleyball dropped its weekend finale at home Sunday afternoon against No. 22 Kentucky, falling by set scores of 19-25, 15-25 and 17-25. Alabama hung tough with 22nd-ranked Kentucky but ultimately the Wildcats used late surges in each set to complete the sweep, holding the Crimson Tide to a .071 team hitting percentage. Krystal Rivers finished the match with a team-leading 19 kills and was one dig shy of a double-double with nine. She is now just 96 kills away from tying the Alabama career record.

With 1,994 kills, she is 96 away from tying Erin Heffner's (2001-04) school record of 2,090. Similarly, she is only 72.5 points away from tying Heffner's career record of 2,391.5.
