Alabama’s No. 34 Double Team Records Victory at Riviera/ITA All-American Championships

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Alabama's No. 34 nationally ranked doubles pair of senior Erin Routliffe and sophomore Andie Daniell registered a win in the back draw of the main draw at the 2016 Riviera/ITA All-American Championships Friday morning.
Routlifee and Daniell topped Virginia Tech's Caroline Daxhelet and Elena Cerezo-Codina in a 8-3 decision. Tomorrow the duo will take on the No. 5 ranked doubles team in Anna Sanford and Miho Kowase of Ohio State in a match that's start time has yet to be determined.
Following the doubles match, Routliffe lost to Hayley Carter of North Carolina, 6-2, 6-1, as part of the second round of the singles main draw.
