Alabama Women’s Tennis Set to Host 29th Roberta Alison Fall Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's tennis team is set to host the 29th Roberta Alison Fall Classic on Friday and Saturday at the Alabama Tennis Stadium. There are 17 teams that are set to participate in the two day event, and there are five student-athletes that will represent the Crimson Tide.
Alabama's seniors Joanna Savva and Danielle Spielmann, junior Smith Hinton and freshmen Maddie Pothoff and Juliana Valero will compete this weekend.
The first round of doubles is set to start on Friday at 9 a.m., followed by the first round of singles. The second round of singles will take place after lunch.
The second round of doubles will begin on Saturday at 9 a.m., followed by the third round of doubles. After lunch, the event will conclude with the third round of singles.
If weather interferes on Friday or Saturday to the point of cancellation, then the schedule will be pushed back a day and matches will be played on Sunday.
