Crimson Tide in the NFL Spotlight: Week 5

Former Alabama players rank among league leaders on both sides of the ball
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Below is a look at some of the highlights from last week by former Crimson Tide players currently in the NFL.
Amari Cooper posted his best performance of the season, hauling in six passes for a career-high 138 yards and a touchdown in the Oakland Raiders' 34-31 victory over the San Diego Chargers. On the season, Cooper ranks fifth among all wideouts in receiving yards (456) and third in yards after the catch (188).
The Baltimore Ravens fell to the Washington Redskins, 16-10, but C.J. Mosley continued his impressive play, notching six tackles and an interception, his third in four weeks. Mosley currently ranks second in the league and first among all linebackers with three interceptions on the season. He has also added 29 tackles to rank second on the team.
Mark Barron once again led the Los Angeles defense in tackles with nine as the Rams fell to the Buffalo Bills, 30-19. Barron's 39 tackles on the season ranks him second on the Rams, just two off the team lead.
A trio of former Crimson Tide standouts met in Green Bay, as Eddie Lacy and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix welcomed the New York Giants and Landon Collins to town. Both Lacy and Clinton-Dix played a major role in the Packers' 23-16 win over the Giants. Lacy ran for 81 yards on 11 carries before leaving the game early with an ankle injury. The Green Bay tailback is averaging a stout 5.5 yards per carry for the year, despite battling injuries early on this season. Clinton-Dix notched six stops, including one for a loss, to add to his 19 total stops for the year.
Playing opposite his former Alabama teammates on Sunday night, Landon Collins put together another strong performance, recording seven tackles and a pass breakup in the Giants; loss to the Packers. Collins currently leads the New York defense in solo tackles with 31 and is second with 37 total on the year, including one sack from his starting safety positon.
A'Shawn Robinson anchored a Detroit defense that earned a 24-23 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. The rookie defender finished with two tackles, including his first career sack.
