Football Continues Preparations Indoors for Second Straight Day

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team practiced inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility for the second consecutive day on Tuesday afternoon with a two-hour session in full pads. Earlier in the morning, the Crimson Tide had four players selected to CBS Sports 2015 Preseason All-America first and second teams.
The afternoon session began at 2:30 p.m. CT indoors with the team getting in its final work before the start of classes on Wednesday. The practice was the team's 15th in a series of 28 leading up to the season opener with Wisconsin in the AdvoCare Classic on Sept. 5. The Crimson Tide and Badgers will meet inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with the game airing on ABC at 7 p.m. CT.
Wednesday will mark the start of the 2015-16 academic year with the Tide returning to its in-season schedule. The team will take part in three consecutive 3:30 p.m. practices leading into the team's second scrimmage of Fall Camp on Saturday at 1 p.m. inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Prior to practice, CBS Sports released its 2015 Preseason All-America Teams, with the Crimson Tide placing four players on the two teams. Junior defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson earned first-team accolades, while junior tight end O.J. Howard, senior linebacker Reggie Ragland and sophomore punter JK Scott were all honored as second-team selections.
