Women's Basketball Falls to No. 7 Duke, 90-40

Alabama freshman guard Hannah Cook led all scorers with 19 points and added three rebounds and two steals to her stat line. Duke senior center Elizabeth Williams, sophomore forward Oderah Chidom and redshirt freshman Rebecca Greenwell each had 17 points. Williams also led the game with 12 rebounds.
The Tide had only one shot attempt less than the Blue Devils, however Duke converted on 55.4 percent (31-56), while Alabama went 25.5 percent (14-55) from the floor. The Blue Devils also used their size to outrebound the Tide, 55-22.
Alabama returns to action on Tuesday, Nov. 18, as it wraps up its three-game homestand with a matchup against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. CT at Foster Auditorium.
