SEC Softball Tournament Tickets Going Fast

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama will host the 2012 Southeastern Conference Softball Tournament and tickets for the event are going fast. The tournament will feature some of the best programs in the country as Rhoads Stadium will welcome eight teams in the three day event.
The Alabama ticket office has already sold 1014 all-session reserved tickets while 63 have been sold for all-session general admission in the Brickyard. That total is rapidly closing in on the per session record as only 42 remain to break that mark.
All seven games will air on the ESPN family of networks as the tournament will begin on Thursday, May 10. The championship game is slated for Saturday, May 12, and will air in primetime on ESPN.
Alabama has won the tournament four times, with its last title coming in 2010. The Crimson Tide was also crowned tournament champions in 2005, 2003 and 1998. UA has won back-to-back regular season titles.
