Softball Will Host Stanford in NCAA Super Regional

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama softball team (49-8) will welcome Stanford (41-15) to the Tuscaloosa Super Regional. The two teams will meet in a three-game series that will begin on Thursday, May 26, at 7 p.m., at Rhoads Stadium.
The game will air on ESPN. The next game on Friday, May 27, will start at 3:30 p.m., and will air on ESPNU. The if necessary game will follow at 6 p.m., and will be shown on ESPN2.
Alabama returns to the super regional round after earning three wins at the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional this past weekend. The Crimson Tide earned wins over Jackson State (8-0), Memphis (7-1) and Chattanooga (11-2) to secure its seventh straight regional title.
Stanford swept through its regional, earning wins over Pacific (3-0), Fresno State (3-1) and Nebraska (4-1) to earn their fifth super regional appearance in program history.
