NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship Start Pushed Back 24 Hours

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Alabama swimming and diving contingent that was slated to begin competition at the NCAA Championships on Thursday learned late Wednesday that the event's start has been delayed 24 hours. The meet will now begin Friday, March 26 at noon. The decision to delay the start came down from the NCAA.
Crimson Tide senior All-Americans Mark Randall and Aaron Fleshner will now get things underway on Friday with the 500 freestyle and one-meter diving, respectively, while junior Denes Zubcsek will hit the water for the first time Saturday with the 100 butterfly. The meet will now conclude on Sunday.
