TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama football team practiced for 90-minutes Thursday in shells (short, shoulder pads and helmets) at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.
"Anytime you play Ole Miss it's a tough game," head coach Nick Saban said. "They've bounced back with two quality wins. As (Jeremiah) Masoli has gotten more comfortable with their offense they have been very, very productive and one of the leading teams in the country in terms of scoring points."
The Crimson Tide worked on special teams today and will need to focus on limiting the Mississippi punt return game Saturday. The Rebels are second in the nation in punt returns, averaging 21.4 yards a return.
Alabama will hold a walkthrough on Friday before facing off against Mississippi in the 90th Homecoming game at the Capstone on Saturday. The Tide and the Rebels are scheduled for an 8:10 p.m., kickoff on ESPN2. For more information on UA Homecoming festivities click here.
