
Softball Named to NFCA All-Academic Team

STARKVILLE, Miss. - On top of all the honors the Alabama softball team earned on the field the Crimson Tide earned one for its work in the classroom as well. Alabama was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association girls got game Top 10 All-Academic Team, based on GPAs submitted for the 2008-09 school year.
Alabama checked in at No. 10 among all Division I teams. Robert Morris was the top institution in the ranks with a 3.610 GPA. The Crimson Tide posted a 3.440 GPA for the academic year.
