Opening Statement: "I thought today's game was great. I thought the weather was kind of bad at first, but other than that I thought that it was a great game and both teams played a good game. Our kids really hung in there real tough."
On the performance of his team this weekend: "I thought they did well. We had a bad start against Alabama, but played a great game yesterday against UTC. I thought we had a good game today, we just couldn't find a way to score. We had a couple of opportunities, but I thought they played great. We really hung in there the whole entire season."
On his team's season as a whole: "It was great. To be honest with you, it's the best season we've ever had. We went 38-16, went undefeated in the SWAC and we had a chance to come and win a game in the regional tournament, which is something we've been trying to do for the last five years. I thought we had great season. Our kids played well. We had injuries throughout the season. We had a chance to do some good things, and I think we did. Offensively I think we are right there among the tops in the nation. We did a lot of good things. We showed up today, did a good job and improved a whole lot from the beginning of the season until now. They made some big plays this weekend."
