TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama baseball team has added one game to its 2009 schedule, according to head coach Jim Wells.
The Crimson Tide will host the Jacksonville State Gamecocks on Tuesday, May 12, at 6:35 p.m. (CDT) at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The game will serve as a make-up game for one of the two previous rain outs.
Tickets for the game will be one dollar, but UA season ticket holders will be admitted to the game with any unused ticket from the 2009 season.
The addition of the Jacksonville State game gives Alabama 55 regular-season games, one under the NCAA limit of 56 games. Wells hopes to add one more game this season.
Alabama wraps up a five-game road swing at South Alabama on Wednesday, April 22, before returning home to host Kentucky in a three-game SEC series, beginning Friday, April 24, at 6:35 p.m. (CDT).
