
Volleyball Beats Nicholls State 3-0 in Bama Bash Tournament

TUSCALOOSA, Ala - The Alabama Volleyball team beat Nicholls State 3-0 in the fourth game of the Hampton Inn Bama Bash Saturday afternoon in the CAVE by scores of 25-5, 25-13 and 25-10. The Crimson Tide returns to action at 7 p.m. tonight against Iowa in the tournament's final match.
Alabama used a balanced attack to secure the win, with five players putting down five or more kills in the match led by Calli Johnson with seven. The Tide goes 1-1 on the season with the win after dropping a 3-2 heartbreaker to Western Kentucky to open the tournament on Friday. Nicholls State goes to 0-2 and plays Western Kentucky at 4 p.m.
