Both Tide Golf Teams Ranked Among Top 25

TUSCALOOSA ?? The 2006-07 Top 25 Men’s and Women’s Preseason College Poll has been released and both the University of Alabama men’s and women’s golf teams are ranked among the nation’s top 25 college golf teams.
In the Men’s Coaches’ Poll released by Golf World, the Crimson Tide checks in at No. 15. Alabama’s 2006-07 squad includes six golfers who have competed in the U.S. Amateur and returns with its top five intact on a team that advanced to NCAA postseason play in 2006.
The Alabama women, who also advanced to the NCAA Championships, are ranked No. 24 in the Women’s Coaches’ Poll. The Tide women return first team All-American Jenny Suh, a U.S. Curtis Cup team member. Golf World lists Suh among its Top 50 Female Players to Watch.
