2006 (Freshman): Woodall played a season-high 22 plays against Florida International with one tackle. He had 21 snaps against Louisiana Monroe with three solo tackles, two of which came inside the 20-yard line on kick returns. He blocked a punt against Ole Miss. He played four snaps with one tackle against Vanderbilt in the SEC opener. He also had one tackle at Tennessee. He finished the season with 112 snaps, six tackles and one pass breakup in 10 games. He had five games with 10 or more snaps and played over 20 snaps twice. He was tabbed the Alabama Special Teams Player of the Week after the Louisiana Monroe contest.
Prep: He tied the Mississippi state interception record with 17 interceptions in his junior season at Lafayette County High School. He was a two-time All-State and three-time All-Area selection. Named the Dandy Dozen Defensive MVP as a senior. Woodall was also a high school baseball standout and was drafted by the New York Mets but turned down a contract to come to Alabama. He was a two-time All-State, All-Division and All-Area selection. He batted .421 his junior season. He also played three years of basketball.
