2006 (Freshman): Served as the backup long snapper. He logged one play against Florida International.
Prep: Selman was the recipient of the scholar-athlete award at Vestavia Hills High School under coach Buddy Anderson. He helped his team to the 2003 6A state semi-finals, ultimately getting knocked-out by Hoover High in a 31-24 defeat in double overtime. Selman’s uncle, Jack Selman, played baseball at Jacksonville State.
Personal: Brian is the son of Diane and Scott Selman. He has one sister, Kate. Born 6-14-1987.
