2006 Academic All-SEC

2006 (Sophomore): Dean played one snap against Florida International.

Prep: Dean was named the Decatur Daily Player of the Year while playing for Decatur High School. He was also tabbed MVP of the North-South game. He was named to the All-State, All-Region and All-Area teams on the way to leading his team to Region 8 Championships.

Personal: Son of Sammy and Jan Dean. He has one brother, Sam. Born 5-24-86. His great grandfather, Frank Stapinski, played baseball for the Cincinnati Reds. His great uncle, Bobbie Wilson, also played football at Alabama.
