
Castille, Caldwell and Hall Named to Coaches All-SEC Team

Junior defensive back Simeon Castille (Birmingham), sophomore center Antoine Caldwell (Montgomery) and junior wide receiver DJ Hall (Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.) were recognized by the league's 12 head coaches for their performances during the 2006 season.
Castille was the Crimson Tide's lone First-Team All-SEC representative. He started all 12 games and ranked fourth on the team with 65 tackles, including a team-best 43 solo stops. Castille was responsible for eight turnovers this season as he led the Crimson Tide with five interceptions and three fumbles recovered. The eight turnovers forced and five interceptions were also among the SEC leaders.
This is the second All-SEC honor in as many days for Castille. He was the Crimson Tide's lone representative on the 2006 Associated Press All-SEC team released on Monday night.

The SEC Office will announce the league's individual awards on Wednesday, December 6, while the 2006 Freshman All-SEC team will be released on Thursday, December 7.
