2006 (Freshman): Rogers played 131 snaps in 12 games with nine tackles. He had six games with at least one tackle. He made three tackles on 18 plays against Duke. He matched a season-high with 19 plays against Florida International, recording two tackles. He also had 19 plays against Louisiana Monroe. He had one tackle against Hawai’i, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Auburn. He recorded 10 or more snaps in six contests.
2005 Redshirted
Prep: His junior season, Rogers had 47 solo tackles, 30 assists, 12 tackles for loss, two sacks and 10 interceptions. On offense, he had 13 catches for 365 yards and six TDs. Rogers was considered one of the top defensive backs in the state of Florida his senior year. During his high school career, he recorded 22 interceptions.
Personal: Chris is the son of Mary Rogers and has a brother, Mario, and a sister, Chrystal. Born 9-25-86. He is in pre-major studies.
