All-American Walker Leads Tide at NCAA Indoor Championships

Alabama finished 39th at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships thanks to junior Beau Walker's fourth place finish in the 60-meter hurdles.
Walker earned All-American honors with her 8.07 second, school record finish, earning five points.
On the meet's final day, junior LaTasha Pharr took 11th in the triple jump with a leap of 42 feet and 4.25 inches while junior Beth Mallory took 14th in the weight throw with a toss of 65-06.
Alabama returns to action next weekend with the opening of the outdoor season. The Crimson Tide is hosting the Alabama Relays, March 17-20 at the Hank Crisp Track and Field Stadium.
