Bama-UAB Baseball Game Suspended Due to Weather

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Alabama-UAB baseball was suspended in the bottom of the second inning due to heavy rains and lightning at Jerry D. Young Memorial Field in Birmingham.
UAB led 1-0 in the bottom of the second inning when the game was suspended by home plate umpire Mo Hodges.
The game will be resumed at 5 p.m. (CT) on Thursday, Feb. 24 at Young Memorial Field. Due to the Alabama women's basketball game at Vanderbilt the game will be not be aired on the Crimson Tide Sports Network or the internet.
