Due to the impending weather situation and threat of Hurricane Ivan, the University of Alabama has postponed Friday night’s soccer match versus UAB.
“We’re obviously concerned for the safety of not only our players and fans but those in the path of the storm as well,” Alabama head coach Don Staley said. “We look forward to rescheduling.”
No decision has been made yet on when the postponed game will be rescheduled. As of now, Alabama’s game versus Jacksonville State will be played as scheduled on Sunday at 1 p.m.
