2005 Freshman All-SEC (Coaches)
2006 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 12 games with a start in the season opener against Hawai’i. He caught two passes for 38 yards with a long of 22 against the Rainbow Warriors. He scored his first career touchdown on a 1-yard pass in double overtime at Arkansas. Walker played a total of 302 snaps with 30 or more plays in five games. He had a season-high 49 plays against Hawai’i.
2005 (Freshman): Walker played in all games for the Tide, participating in 572 snaps including a season high 57 snaps against Southern Miss. He started the first 11 games of the season, but not the Cotton Bowl game against Texas Tech. Walker had a career high three catches against Arkansas for 34 yards. He tied his high for catches against Ole Miss when he reeled in three passes for a career high 46 yards.
2004 Redshirted
Prep: Walker, a class 3A All-State selection and All-County pick, helped Pike county to its first state championship in 14 years. In his senior campaign, Walker had 67 receptions for 1.028 yards and 15 touchdowns. Walker also was a valuable asset for the Bulldogs in another phase of the game, handling placekicking duties. As a junior, he had 37 catches for over 800 yards and 10 TDs and earned All-County and All-State honors.
Personal: Nick is the son of Brinda and Jerry Steward and he has two brothers, Michael and Marcus and a sister, Latasha. Born 11-19-85. He is in pre-major studies.
