82 Alabama Student-Athletes Become Graduates Today

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The return of all-star linebacker Saleem Rasheed will be one of the highlights of Monday's graduation ceremonies at The University of Alabama. A total of 82 student-athletes are scheduled to receive their degrees in two graduation ceremonies at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Rasheed will be part of the 9 a.m. grazduation.
A total of 26 football student-athletes will receive their degrees, including four, Atokie Boman, Paul Hogan, Derek Sanders and Tyler Watts, who will receive their graduate degrees.
Graduating players who will participate in football this fall are fullback Nathan Cox (Finance), offensive linemen Danny Martz (Criminal Justice) and Evan Mathis (Marketing) and linebacker Cornelius Wortham (General Health Studies).
In addition, four members of the Crimson Tide men's basketball team, Antoine Pettway, Reggie Rambo, Demetrius Smith and Emmett Thomas, will also receive their degree.
