Alabama Baseball Trading Card Day Set for Saturday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The University of Alabama will give out its 2004 team issued trading card set at Saturday's game between the Crimson Tide and Vanderbilt Commodores.
The first 1,000 fans to enter Sewell-Thomas Stadium will receive a free set of Alabama baseball trading cards. The 10-card set features replica cards from various Topps, Donruss and Fleer sets of the past.
The set includes head coach Jim Wells (1977 Topps), senior outfielder Ryan Beagle (1969 Topps), junior pitcher Brent Carter (1975 Topps), senior pitcher Seth Johnson (1984 Donruss), sophomore catcher Charlie Lyons (1997 Fleer), senior pitcher Jeffrey Norris (1952 Topps), junior infielder Allen Rice (1994 Fleer), senior designated hitter Carlos Sosa (1959 Topps), junior pitcher Taylor Tankersley (1960 Topps) and junior first baseman Zac Welch (1983 Topps).
