TUSCALOOSA – After taking three months off for the winter, the University of Alabama women’s golf team returns to action at the Tulane Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday in New Orleans, La.
The tournament marks the opening event for the Crimson Tide’s spring schedule that features six tournaments including the SEC Championship over the next three months. Tulane University is the host team of the event and Alabama is making its second consecutive appearance in the tournament field.
The Tulane Intercollegiate is held at the English Turn Golf Club, a course that also annually hosts a PGA Tour stop.
Alabama looks to build on the success they had during their fall slate that included a pair of Top 5 team finishes. The Tide posted a runner-up showing in their final fall event, the Ross Resorts Invitational on Nov. 3-4.
Following the Tulane Intercollegiate, the Crimson Tide will next travel to Tucson, Ariz., to participate in the NCSU Saguaro Cactus Classic on Feb. 22-24.
