Tunwannarux posted four birdies in the opening round of the NCAA Regional
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Alabama women's golfer Natchanok Tunwannarux is tied for 12th on the player leaderboard after the opening round of the NCAA Tallahassee Regional. Tunwannarux carded a 1-under par 71, at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club, posting the second lowest score from an individual throughout the field.Â
ROUND ONE HIGHLIGHTS
- Tunwannarux posted four birdies in the opening round, tied for the 10th throughout the field
- The junior recorded a trio of birdies on the front nine, finishing at 2-under par 34, before closing the back nine at 1-over par 37
- Tunwannarux's average score of 2.75 (1-under par) on par 3 holes is tied for the third lowest-average score amongst all players
- Recorded her ninth round scoring par or lower this season
- One-under par 71 is Tunwannarux's sixth-lowest round this season
