Golf Channel In Town To Film Crimson Tide Golfers

TUSCALOOSA – A television crew from The Golf Channel was in Tuscaloosa a few days ago filming a segment for its weekly show “College Central.” The show’s new season begins tonight at 9:30 p.m. CT and airs each Wednesday night throughout the spring season. The segment on Alabama will air sometime in March.
The show is taking a tour of campuses this season, and Tide women’s golfer Darby Sligh and men’s golfer Clint Provost represented Alabama’s golf teams as the campus tour guides, taking the cameras to such famous UofA spots as Denny Chimes, The Quad, Bryant-Denny Stadium, the President’s Mansion, and, naturally, its home golf course at Ol’ Colony.
