SEC Special Teams Player of the Week vs. Arkansas (Sept. 24)
2005 (Senior): Schatz took the starting job in Alabama’s second game of the season against Southern Miss and never relinquished the spot. He punted the ball 60 times for a 38.3 average. His best game came against Arkansas when he nailed a 72-yard punt, the 10th longest in Alabama history. He also hit 50-yarder in the same game. Two of his punts were downed inside the 20-yard line and he also forced a fair catch on another. Schatz recorded six punts over 50 yards this season while 16 of them were downed inside the 20-yard line.
2004 (Junior): Jeremy punted in two games, getting one punt for 40 yards against Southern Miss and then two punts for 55 yards in the Music City Bowl against Minnesota.
2003 (Sophomore): Did not see varsity action

2001 Freshman: As a freshman at Troy, Jeremy punted 47 times for 1,768 yards, a 37.6 average.
Prep: An All-State selection as punter and placekicker at Homewood High School, Jeremy also played in the North-South High School All-Star game.
Personal: Jeremy is the son of Kenneth and Melissa Schatz and he has a sister, Hannah and a brother, Eric. Born 10-14-82. He is a Human Environmental Sciences major.
