Alabama Softball Has Three Named Academic All-District

As the postseason is in full swing, awards are beginning to pile in for the No. 17 ranked University of Alabama softball team.
The 2003 Verizon Academic All-District IV teams were announced and senior Jennifer Reach and juniors Angela Johnson and Jackie McClain were selected to the All-District Second Team.
Reach has a 3.57 in Hospitality and Restaurant Management, Johnson a 3.94 in Marketing and McClain a 3.35 in Secondary Education.
Johnson is a two-time Verizon Academic All-District selection while McClain and Reach are making their first appearances.
All three are Academic All-SEC performers.
The Crimson Tide is currently in action at the 2003 SEC Softball Tournament in Plant City, Florida and will return home to host the 2003 NCAA Regional Tournament on May 15-18.
