Baseball Grand Slammers 'Fan Day' Set for Sunday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Alabama Grand Slammers annual baseball “Fan Day” is set for Sunday, Feb. 9 from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility on the campus of the University of Alabama.
The format for the annual “Fan Day” will change from previous years as there will be no food served at the 2003 “Fan Day”.
Head coach Jim Wells, assistant coaches Jim Gatewood, Danny Watkins and B.J. Green, along with members of the 2003 Alabama baseball team will be on hand for autographs and photos. Coach Jim Wells will introduced the squad and give a scouting report on the upcoming season, which begins Feb. 14 at the Astros College Classic, presented by the Houston Chronicle.
Posters, schedule cards, season ticket applications and door prizes will also be available. In addition, a silent auction will be held with all proceeds benefitting the Alabama Grand Slammers.
