TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team finalized preparations Thursday for Saturday's homecoming contest against Southern Miss with a two-hour workout at Thomas-Drew Field.
Alabama head coach Mike Shula said his team's attitude has not dampened.
"I think (their attitude) has been great," Shula said. "I think these guys are hungry, extremely hungry for a win. I think they're a little ticked off and they've worked hard because of it. I think it's important for us as coaches to help all of us realize how important it is to do everything right."
Coach Shula said the captains for the 2:05 p.m. kickoff will be Nick Ridings (special teams), Wesley Britt (offense), and Charles Jones (defense).
Handling the announcing duties for the Crimson Tide's pay-per-view telecast are David Crane (play-by-play), Tyler Watts (analyst), Reggie Collier (analyst) and Chris Stewart (sideline).
Alabama and Mississippi residents may call their local cable operator to order the game. The game will also be available on DISH Network (Channel TBA) or by calling 1-800-TVSTARS (large C-band owners). The game is also available through ESPN GamePlan.
